One of the oldest programs on campus, the College of Engineering helps keep Lamar University the hotbed of the oil and gas industry. Our professors maintain close ties to industry, preparing students for the workforce.

Scholarships
Every year, the College of Engineering offers endowed scholarships valued at more than $4 million to eligible students.
Qualified graduate students receive out-of-state tuition waivers plus $1,000 per year general graduate scholarships. Highly qualified students receive assistantships with tuition waivers.
